Thank you, Robin, for an amazing Southern breakfast this morning! The main topic of conversation was the crazy storm that passed through last night. Some of our family actually slept through this 50 MPH wind, rain, and hail storm, but I kept listening for a tree to fall on our camper! This morning, tree limbs and leaves were scattered everywhere. Since we can see the golf course from our camper, we overlook the seventh hole, we waited to start our round, after the grounds crew cleaned the course. Robin and I enjoyed another relaxing round of golf with sunny skies, a light breeze, and temperatures in the mid-seventies. Afterwards, we took a quick dip in the heated pool before our "Mystery Dinner." Nancy, AKA our tour director, requested all family members to assemble at the main cabin at 5:45 PM. We were all given a menu to select five items for each course. The problem.....the menu items had crazy names, such as Grand Finale, Pitchfork, Rolling Stones, etc.
As each course was delivered, it was hysterical to watch folks eat without utensils, or eat dessert with a salad.
Leave it to Nancy and Jim to plan activities that make us laugh until we hurt! Afterwards, David and Lily requested a walk down on the boat docks. Watching the discovery of lily pads and cattails through a child's eyes really causes one to slow down and notice nature's beauty.
