Today we began the journey of Lana's #1 Bucket List trip - to Australia. The day began perfectly - boarding Delta's Airbus to Honolulu. Our business class seats were very futuristic, with fully reclining seats in self contained cubicles.
Cheers..... and off we go!
It was the fastest nine hour flight EVER! All the luggage arrived at the Honolulu airport, and we were off to the Hale Koa where we were informed that our ocean view room had been upgraded to ocean front.
After a recon of the area, Rob took a nap while Lana strolled the beach and relaxed at the pool with a local.
The Hale Koa is a beautiful Army resort on Waikiki. We have "Chamber of Commerce" weather in an absolutely gorgeous setting. Day One = great beginning!
